libmeep-mpi-default-dev software package provides development library for using parallel (OpenMPI) version of meep, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmeep-mpi-default-dev
libmeep-mpi-default-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmeep-mpi-default-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmeep-mpi-default-dev *
You will get with libmeep-mpi-default-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
